His work investigates how creative practices can open space for experimentation, emotion, and storytelling in policymaking. With a background in photography, video, and music, he is continually looking for ways to bring these sensibilities into his institutional context. David holds both a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree from the Köln International School of Design, with exchange studies at Aalto University and the Glasgow School of Art.

Futures Garden
Futures Garden, a self-initiated project by the EU Policy Lab, brings ideas and visions of different futures to life through art and design. By making these futures tangible, it becomes possible to discuss how they relate to the EU’s work and the ways policies are shaped. The aim is to spark small-scale experiments among policymakers and to create opportunities for citizens to engage with future visions.
Take part in Futures Garden by joining the radio show After Jubilee.

WORKSHOP
After Jubilee
After Jubilee is a radio show set in a future Europe.
It takes place a few years after the Jubilee; a mass erasure of debt, the introduction of a new calendar system, and a restructuring of societal and economic priorities. By tuning into the show, listeners catch glimpses of everyday stories, opportunities, and challenges that emerge in this time of transition.
Through a series of segments—such as a conversation between a grandmother and her granddaughter, or a report from a local community center—listeners are invited to imagine a world with more space to rest, to experiment, and to connect with one another.
After Jubilee reimagines futurism by questioning our relationship to the past, the linearity of time, and the inevitability of the future.
